Woofability Service Dog Assessments

At Woofability Service Dogs, we are committed to setting you and your dog up for longterm success in service dog work. As part of completing your training through Woofability’s Service Dog program, you will take part in our final assessment.
The Woofability Service Dog Assessment is designed to thoroughly evaluate your team’s skills before you move on to the BC Guide and Service Dog Test. Our assessment is similar to the official BC evaluation, but it also goes further, incorporating real-world situations and personalized task training to reflect your individual needs.
During this evaluation, we assess:
Public access skills in real-world environments
Task performance and reliability
Handler and dog teamwork
The dog’s ability to remain focused and responsive under distraction
Situational readiness for a variety of service environments
Upon successful completion of the Woofability Service Dog Assessment, you will receive:
A formal Letter of Completion stating that you and your dog have successfully completed training through Woofability and that your dog is fully task trained. This letter can be used as evidence of training for airlines, employers, housing providers, and other agencies.
A Certificate of Completion.
A Woofability Service Dog ID Card.
While our assessment does not replace the official BC Guide and Service Dog Test, it is an essential step to ensure you are fully prepared, giving you additional documentation and professional recognition of your team’s training and abilities.
Completing the Woofability Service Dog Assessment ensures you and your service dog have the best possible foundation for future public access and professional requirements.
